Saying Goodbye

“So I decided that I would just say goodbye.”

There’s always that one moment when you look back and discover you left a lot of things behind. Some of those things, well, you shouldn’t have. That’s what you tell yourself, anyway.

I’ve said goodbye a lot too, so I know how it feels to distance yourself to what you are used to. It’s hard when you’re just thinking about it. It gets harder when you’re nearing the time to say it. It’s totally worse the moment after.

But saying goodbye can be NECESSARY.

So, here I will say it: LET GO.

{Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder…}

When someone is hurting you, or if that person is making you uncomfortable, let go of that person. When something is making you feel fear, or giving you sensations that you don’t think you want to feel, then move away.

But, hon, before you take a step away from the line, think about what you’re doing. You’re moving away from an encounter with something that could be life-changing.

Saying GOODBYE is one of the hardest or easiest things to do.

So don’t let it fool you; sometimes it’s better to stay for a little while rather than run straight out of the door.

Have a drink. Chill.

Think things through before you

decide to say goodbye.
